Tom Gearan graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Boston Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident.  He has served in the role of Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Maine Medical Center since 2009 and the Rural Internal Medicine Track (RIMM) since its inception in 2016.

Dr. Gearan was involved in the original ACGME CLER Pursuing Excellence grant, and will lead the iPACE™ Over efforts.
